PROVIDENCE − Comedian Matt Rife, who bought a house last year in North Smithfield, is among four comedians who have been added to the lineup of Lil Rhody Laugh Riot, a four-day comedy festival holding its inaugural outing in March in and around Providence.
Organizers announced Tuesday that Rife would be added to the festival along with Jonathan Van Ness, Des Bishop and Ashley Gavin, who will join previously announced acts, including Kevin Hart, Leslie Jones, Aziz Ansari, Chris Distefano, Hannah Berner and Michael Blaustein.
Rife's show is scheduled for March 29 and 30 at the Comedy Connection, 39 Warren Ave., East Providence. Bishop is slated for March 27 at the same venue, and Gavin and Van Ness will be at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium on March 29.
The festival runs March 27 to 30. The full schedule and tickets are available at the festival website, lilrhodylaughriot.com.
